In an effort to assist university faculty in obtaining more NIH funding, University Research Services and Administration is offering faculty members a chance to have their NIH proposal concept evaluated by a peer review board. The Solix proposal concept review process consists of 3 qualified reviewers with expertise relevant to your research proposal area who independently complete evaluations of your concept. From these independent evaluations Solix compiles a report which it posts to a secure online system for you to retrieve. Investigators would then be able to review this feedback before submitting their final NIH proposal. URSA’s goal in offering this opportunity is to increase our faculty’s chances of receiving NIH funding by giving them access to feedback from peers who are widely considered to be subject matter experts and many of whom have served as peer reviewers for federal agencies. If you are interested in participating in this NIH pre-review process please contact the Andrew Young School Dean’s Office Grants and Contracts Officer at jedwards52@gsu.edu for an application.
